Illusion Advice

I am a level 100 illusion user and I can't pacify many things in the end game because it is level based. Is there a mod to assist with this (that is not OP)

You have the perks?

Haven't focused on it myself but I thought some of them said they increased the level range of effectiveness. Not sure if any go up to the scaling cap.

I have most of the perks, including those, and still no luck. :/

If you have all the perks you should be able to use your spells on just about anything save the most powerful enemies. Make sure you're using your expert level spells and not the lower level ones.

The key to high-level Illusion use is to regularly dual-cast to get a x2.2 multiplier on the monster levels you can affect (*after* the level-modifying perks, Animage and such, are taken into account).

There probably is a mod, but you can also use alchemy to increase the power of Illusion spells. Ingredients for Fortifying Illusion are:


Scaly Pholiota
Mora Tapinella
Dragon's Tongue
Dwarven Oil
Taproot

Toggle the Illusion option where Illusion will works regardless of level, BUT the skill and perk will determine the duration.

Example: you could Calm anything calmable at skill lvl 15 no perk, but higher mobs would probably be effected for 0.01 seconds.

Illusion is for assasin's and thieves. mainly because of the muffle spell, Invisibility spell and the silent casting perk. everything else becomes sort of worthless after you get those things down.

Whenever in doubt I also do this.

Also, being a vampire helps by 25% or so, I seem to recall.
