Skyrim Legendary Edition Installation

I recently purchased the Legendary Edition of Skyrim.

When I insert the disk it gives me the option of either playing the game, reinstalling or uninstalling it. I'm not sure what to do. I've tried the reinstall but the DLC didn't download.

If I uninstall and then reinstall will my saved games be kept intact and will the DLC be downloaded?

When you first hit play the screen that has the buttons for play, data files, tech support, etc, open the one that says data files, that is where the dlc's are listed. Fr9om what I understand the dlc's download with the legendary game not as a seperate option.

Do I have to uninstall my current version then? I did what you suggested and the DLC's aren't listed, only the mods I'm subscribed to.

You shouldn't have to uninstall the current version. Check your computer game file (usually under steam/apps) to see if the dlc's are there.

From what I understand the DLC's are part of the legendary edition disk, if you had skyrim already you may have to uninstall the game and reinstall with the new disk. Move your save files to a different folder before uninstalling just to make sure you don't lose them.

Did you get it working? Im having the same problem.Im starting to think the Disks are corrupted as DLC is not being downloaded.

Haven't tried the uninstall yet.

It actually got me thinking, if I uninstall the game and then install it from the Legendary Disk, am I going to lose all of my current achievements?

Maybe.I did notice when I started the game that I got the achievement for escaping the prision.Which I already had previously. It would appear it resets them.

That's really crap, though. As silly as it seems, I don't want to lose them...

You need to activate the product code you recieved with the game.
It should be located somewhere within the game box.

I have the same problem. And does anybody know where to enter the cd key, because i don't get any messages of were to enter it
