a blade in the dark

i'm on the main quest and i'm on the "a blade in the dark quest" i defeated the dragon, absorbed the soul, now i'm supposed to talk to delphine. when i talk to her all she says is something along the lines of "that was a great job, let's take a closer look at this dragon" then she just sits there. i've tried using the command prompt, but i got "missing parameter quest compiled script not saved" i don't want to have to restart from the last save point before starting the quest becuase it was several hours of gameplay before. would any of my mods cause this?

Your mods are not responsible - it is a known issue that is random. I am trying to assist someone with the same issue

gotcha. yeah, i already took all my mods off and came to that conclusion.

i don't think that's the problem. from what i've read about it, it's lost data for that quest specifically.

Have completed this quest without any problems. Do recall someone else with this problem who got around it by going to see the greybeards. No idea how this would change things but apparently it worked for him.

setstage MQ106 150, setstage MQ106 155, setstage MQ106 160 those should fix it when put in the console. i know the 150 one worked for me twice

Good news is I had this problem for the last few hours and i got a way around it. The Bad news was i had to use the command "setstage MQ203 1" to get past it, so not only did i skip the rest of the quest but also the whole next quest. I dont know why its like this but those two missons seem to be a problem with the game its self.
