Most consider me an expert at the Skyrims series. The Morrowing Skyrim and the Oblivion one seem better games to most fans, compared to the latest Skyrim.

But here is why:

Those games came out 4-8 years ago. If you're 18 now, you were 15 back then. If you're 24 now you were 19 back then.

So you matured. Games didn't. They remained the same, maybe even better a bit, but not to the degree that you matured. So now the games seem more childish. Congrats, you are growing up!

Well first off lets do a major correction, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim are just a small part of The Elder Scrolls series. Before that there was Arena and some others which the names escape me at the present moment. Number two, your comment about true gamers game before conception is valid so I have no beef with that one. Numebr three, TES has evolved over the years and not just graphically either. I mean story wise, gameplay wise and the level of stuff that many modders have pushed out over the years. Now if your post is in terms of age difference and what not then I got nothing much to say about that one. To each his/her own.

No one considers you an expert on anything, especially since you just called it "the Skyrims series."

And by the way, your logic is hilariously flawed, since it assumes it's psychological development over the course of eight years that cause people to dislike Skyrim. In reality, it's the major changes in gameplay and storytelling that some people don't like. Mind you, I love Skyrim, more than Morrowind and Oblivion, but I can still recognize why some people don't like it.

First, it's not the Skyrim series, it is the Elder Scrolls series. I've played from upwards Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. Age 22. But I've a friend who has also played all these games, age 16. Age is not a factor. So let's not be biased. Actually Skyrim is just as mature as it's predecessors. Maybe even more so now because there's more gore, marriage (relationships) and emotion immersed in the characters you interact with. The Elder Scrolls will always be a mature game unlike Borderlands 2 which I can't take seriously because it has it's asinine comedy moments.
