Need some help

I just installed Hearthfire and got a house and did most things. I'm trying to adopt childrin but the woman will not let me because I don't have room for them. I have two double beds and two child beds. I moved everyone out but still nothing. What am I doing wrong?

You have to have the bedroom wing on the house (I believe it's the west wing), not just the beds that are in the main hall upstairs.

I do have the west wing - bedroom. That's how I got the two child's beds

okay, do you have the chests in there? You have to build the beds and the chests and I think that 'completes' the bedroom for kids.

Oh okay. I haven't built chests yet. I'll try it out tomorrow

I just adopted some urchins and had them live at Lakeshore, when I just had the main hall, but I did have all the furniture.
