Is There A Skill You Will Not Set To Legendary?
I have speechcraft as the main skill it is easy to become a thane in most of the holds by just investing in the buisnesses, Do any of you have skills you will not reset as legendary to go past the 81 soft cap?

Crafting skills. No way I'm grinding that twice, once is boring enough.

Otherwise I just set to Legendary the skills actually fitting my character: say when I play a mage, I'll only reset the mage skills. As a roleplayer, it would seem dumb to me to have a mage being a legendary two-hander, but that's just me.

Thanks for your answer. I appreciate it makes sense.

Losing 85 points of skill is too large a price to pay. I'd rather use an uncapper.

Whatever skills you use the most is the one you will rollover. For me it was smithing and enchanting for a sword and board character, smithing i rolled over twice.Don't ask.And yes it depends on the class of your character that picks what perk trees you can rollover.Mage and thief have it slightly better than a fighter IMO.

I set Destruction and then Lockpicking to Legendary. I made a few select potions to help with destruction and had the clothing items enhanced for lockpicking. My destruction is now back to 87 and lockpicking is slowly building up but I get by most times without much problem. Break a few lockpicks at times but I have about 450 of them anyway.

Sneak, Enchanting and Conjuration, mainly because I don't like giving up 30x sneak damage with the Jester's Gloves, and because Bethesda decided to be stupid by only letting you enchant an item twice. and have two summons, when each skill is at 100.

Also, I don't have a problem with crafting skills; Smithing has been done five times now, while Alchemy has been done four times now.

I read that every skill would have to be reset 11 times to get every perk. If you ever make it that far will there be any quest left you would be level 451.

I ran into the Legendary decision for the first time last night. I had another character that had Smithing at 100 but nothing came up about setting it to Legendary status. I was a little surprised to see the request. I had never heard about it before. I don't know what to do. Is there a place that I can learn what this is all about?

I've been playing Skyrim since it first came out, however it's just been recntly that I added any mods, I added Safehouse and another house mod (can't rememver the name of it off-hand).

It's just been the last couple of days that I've been scouting the "Steam Experience".
