Alduin first fight.

hey guys im level 9 and fighting alduin for the first time, but no matter how long im alive i seemly cant do any damage to him. is level nine just to early? what am i doing wrong

is this the first encounter battle on top of the Throat of the World?
and are you using Dragonrend?

there is also a well known bug that stops him from takening damage if you attacked before he was finished talking, in that case re-load.

Had same issue, Desert Fox has best advice. I got tired of his ranting and attacked him early almost every time and the battle never ended lol

@The Desert Fox love the name ! :3 Now to contribute to the thread. LEVEL 9 o_0!!!!! DUDE! WHAT DID YOU DO?!?! SPRINT THROUGH THE STORY?!? dude..... but yeah, I'm not actually sure what level you should be for the first fight. It could be leveled, for all I know, which, it probably is. So, yeah, best to take The Desert Fox's advice.

Lol, seriously though, I don't think I've EVER gotten to the first encounter without being AT LEAST level 20 or something. I'll always be like, "Yeah! Lets go fight some butt-ugly dragons and save the da- OOOOO! Whats that over there!" lol

Lvl 9 !! Chortle, Chortle. Good luck with that as Alduin has a starting Health of 2471 whereas yours would be somewhere in the region of below 200.

First, You don't have to have a high lvl...I was just Lvl 9...Second, no matter what you do, you can't kill Alduin. let him finish talking once you used Dragonend to get him on the ground.

Keep using Dragonend on him once he stops talking , and keep attacking him with whatever means.
I use Dragonend to keep him down, and sword to attack him. Eventually, his health is low enough for him to concede defeat...for now. Then he flies off.
