The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Bleak Falls Temple problems
I got to a certain room in Bleak Falls Temple and I'm having serious problems trying to figure out a puzzle, it involves a lever and several statue-type things that you can turn around into different positions. I may be a complete idiot but I'm totally stumped on this. Does anyone know how the ♥♥♥♥ you get through the room? Thanks.

I've done this puzzle a thousand times. (NOT KIDDING) Snake, Snake, Whale. Go get'em tiger.

There are symbols above the entrance...they correspond to the rotating tablets below...match the tablets to the symbols to proceed...

Note: (one has fallen from its place on the wall)

Following up on this, I have another problem, this one a full-out bug if I'm not mistaken-- I've gotten to the door with the rotating rings, and I figured out the pattern (bear, angel, owl), but when the door starts to come open, only the top half disappears, and the lower half remains. I even checked an online walkthrough but it doesn't seem that I did anything wrong. The animation that happens when I open the door is a bit messed up, and the door will shudder and flicker slightly, and then I just can't get through at all. I tried loading an earlier game and going back to the door from there, but that doesn't work either, the same bug happens. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Thank you, and sorry for my continued problems.

Keep trying to reload from different saves.
If that doesn't work, juts use TCL.

Wondering what TCL is? At this point I've done a whole bunch of things and nothing's working, I'm ready to throw the computer out the window. Well, not really. But I'm definitely getting rather frustrated.

You should check your log files for critical errors concerning scripts and other things. If you have not enabled them yet, do it now. You need to change the Skyrim.ini file under the (default) folder ‘Documents/My Games/Skyrim’ as follows:

[Papyrus]
fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1

The game will then create a folder ‘Logs’ under Documents/My Games/Skyrim/Logs which in turn will contain a subfolder called ‘Script’. This folder will contain the files ‘Papyrus.0’, ‘Papyrus.1’, ‘Papyrus.2’, and ‘Papyrus.3’ in which all kinds of errors during a game session will be stored.

If you cannot get past the door, try advancing the quest with the help of the console. You need to type the following:

setstage MS13 (+ the number of the stage you want to advance it to)

’MS13’ is the quest ID, you can find all stages here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:The_Golden_Claw

The door should be open if you advance the quest far enough.
