Console only weapon?

So I was playing the other day and typed in console -help "scimitar"- and the result for "the wolf's scimitar" appeared. so i typed the code to equip the sword and it looks awesome! only problem is, i looked the sword up on google... nothing. no info on it at all. has anyone heard of this sword? is there such a thing as console only weapons/ items? thank you in advanced

yeah it is the first code listed under the name "the wolf's scimitar" under console. I tried it again today and when i got on it still had the blade from when i saved it but it wasn't listed anywhere in my inventory. it's a shame too. it's almost a mix of the dawnbreaker, the hilt of an ancient nord weapon, and the blade of the scimitar. i wish i knew that stats on it but as I said it isn't in my inventory and I have no idea how else to check.

Test it out. It's stats are probbally non-existant fyi.
It's one of those only-equippable things, like nocturnal's robe. You said it had a custom model, so it would be pretty cool if someone on the workshop took the model and made it into a real weapon.

Yes, there is console only stuff - very little and most of it is items cut from the game so they have a record but were never placed in the gameworld.

I was going to suggest that maybe it was some subscription that I clicked on (because sometimes I do it at random without reading the descriptions) but as stated it is only-equippable and I totally agree the sword is awesome and someone should turn it into a mod. If I knew how I would.

There are also several spells that are like this that you can get by typing psb into the console. One oddity is the spell Erandur uses to seal away the Skull of Corruption. Casting and holding it does nothing but an cool animation.

Do you have any mods installed?

I'm looking in the CK and see nothing under "Weapons" by the name of "Wolf's Scimitar", so I'm guessing it's been installed by a mod, and possibly never used by the author.

I have about thirty mods. I was going to try check the ck as well to see if anything was there but it was freezing up. I'm going to investigate my mods further.

Check what it's ID start with.

ok so there are two id's (not sure what the difference is)
first ID: 090228D0
second ID: 09023954

I'm pretty sure both work. I usually type in console [player.equipitem <ID one or two>] and it works.
the sword has a leather grip with an almost eagle head pommel, the decorative guard of the dawnbreaker sword (unlit), and the blade of the scimitar. I think it looks amazing and would definitely use it in battle.

It could possibly be associated with one subscription that I have ( the pit fighter faction) but at this point I am unsure because there is nothing in the description that states the weapons that comes with the mod.

That's just asking to have your game screwed up by mods.

I think that comes from a mod that a moder put in but forgot cause I see 09 in the id and if was in the base game it be 00 for the first 2 numbers as 00 is the code for which addon past base game the item comes from. From what I can tell the item is coming from your ninth addon you installed.
