Some wiki sites can be how say rude or just not even help. Steam forums are not looked over by the devs except if one those alpha/beta games they got going on steam. There are few non testing games that are looked over by the devs but most cases not cause they have their own forums to deal with. People who buy it on steam will usualy answer your discussion but not always a friendly manner though.

My org. question: Doing the Forbidden Legend quest. Was givin the spell to summon the Fire Spawn and equipt it. However I don't have the majka to cast the spell. Now I can't unequipt the spell to use a different weapon. How do i do this?

I did this quest and I don't remember having to equip anything in spells during this quest.
All you have to have is to gather the stuff (I won't spoil for those reading).

Unless you are thinking about the Wizards College questline, since it is what starts the Forbidden Legend quest.

The only quest, as far as I know, where you're required to summon a fire anything, is when you're applying to the college of winterhold. That quest, however, is called "First Lessons," so I'm not sure what you mean.

I have the strat guide and read through this quest line. There isn't anything you specifically equip. There are some tough moments though. If I'm going to help, I'll need more details. Are you sure its "Forbidden Legend"? If so where exactly are you and what are you trying to do?

Ok, I think I got this. "First Lesson" Summon Flame Atronach. I'm in Winterheld. Talking to Faralde. She wants me to do this to enter the school. This started from, Aranea, apriestess of Azura. I hope this helps. Sorry
