Do you prefer to destroy or join the DB?

join, but its close, I feel that the destroy mission is just pointless, its one mission, kill all. Thats like a freaking bandit mission!

I would rather have a mission to infiltrate them, make them comfortable and then burn them all to the ground.

I honestly feelt bad when doing the missions for the brotherhood, I would had liked the option to turn sides halfvay.
Playing dubble agent meaby.

I fellt bad after it, They were so happy, all was good, then you killed them.
Or the Emperor mission.

IMO the DB missions are amazing, it's a must that you do them once or more times

I personally fellt like the developer had allot more focus on the bad part, or neutral.
You can join and make the thieves guild rise to glory,,,,, or ignore them.
You can kill Paarthurnax, or ignore the mission.

Sometimes you can do the good thing, but you are allot limited.

Do not missunderstand, I like being evil, mad, and a bit sadistic, but sometimes it goes ower the line.

Being strong is not about killing the weak. its about being able to stand agains those lures.

Well some of us dont have to be strong to get the job done... Some of us prefer a more cunning, yet more morbid approach... Being strong means nothing when I plunge my teeth in your sweet little neck.....

I pitty those that have to draw blood to prove their argument, when others can do it with words alone.

There is other virtue than being able to kill one oponent.
Velius 3 nov., 2013 @ 4:04am
There is no use in words, since blood is the thing that leaves the brightest mark. There is no use in allies, since the only person you can trust is yourself, and yourself alone. There is no point in arguing, since deaths embrace is a blessing I will give upon you, wheter you accept it or not.

And still its the songs and stories of old bravery and battles that remains. blood is bright, but wont live for long.
The blood from battles long ago is since long ago palle and washed away. But the bards still uses words to remember.

a killer without alies are just a bandit, a butcher. but one that uses words and strong lojality to his commrads are a general or warlord. Or a king.

The assassins themselfes know that, without lojality there is no dark brotherhood. Their very own name says so, brotherhood.

ABSOLUTELY agree with this, why is the good stuff only available if you're evil?

Its like they think that players will only want to be evil and nothing but evil.

NO idea what the developers were thinking of.

The only places I can think of is some of the smal dedric quests, with Nephala, but then you either get the rod, or you dont and you wont get the achivment.
Other is Hircine, Thats one when you are bether of doing "good" you get Hircines ring, otherwise just some ♥♥♥♥ty old rag armor.

Or namira, but then again the same thing, you do it or you miss the artifact. and no achivment.

but no big event really gives you options. except the civil war at two times, jagged crown and recruitment. But those quests are all alike annyway.

I thought it was funny.... crashing the party and then ruining a wonderful moment where everybody was happy, etc..... nothing like letting her finish her speech and then from across the way on another balcony, *thwap* arrow in the eye and she drops in front of everybody. Then everybody runs around like headless chickens trying to find you while the Argonian guy slaughters them all.

That's why I like the DB quests.... some people you are contracted to kill seem like nice people, while others are evil, and those in between.... but it doesn't matter about your opinions on those people as the Dark Brotherhood is not designed to judge or pick & choose.... the Black Sacrament & the DB (Based on the Service of Sithis) is designed in such a way that you are not in the position to judge and choose, you're just an instrument & if you can't accept that, then you shouldn't have joined.

Besides, if you don't go through with the kill, someone else in the DB will (They must)..... so would you prefer to do it yourself and make sure they have an appropriate death (quick and painless for those you feel sympathy for or slow and painful for those evil ones) or would you prefer to let someone else do the deed, whom might make the situation worse than you would??

I see being killed by my character is a blessing for the "Nice" people..... and a horrible travesty for those I deem evil or cruel.
