@Kagnesti: You seem to know a lot about the way this game works, so you may be able to suggest a solution to an NPC problem I have in my play through.
Basically, Frodnar (the little boy in Riverwood, Hod's son) seems to be stuck. I did post a request for advice but haven't had any responses as yet.

He has been standing in the middle of the road like that for about two (in game) days. He is still animated and can talk, and I can knock him aside with my horse so he isn't frozen. But he doesn't move from that spot and his dog Stump has disappeared.
Do you have any suggestions to free him?
i know much about the game due to my hundreds of hours on skyrim on my xbox360 and on PC. but bugs and errors are not me. those 3 commands have fixed some NPC's that were borked for me when they would not work.
However, Frodnar does interact a lot with Stump the dog and it did occur to me that if Stump dissappeared from the game it might derail the scripting for Frodnars behaviour. e.g. he may be standing in the middle of the street waiting for Stump to turn up and he hasn't turned up.
You can easily test that theory via the console. Type in "help Stump" first. It should tell you the NPC code for that dog. Then type in "player.placeatme xxxxxxxx" (the x's stand for the NPC code). That will spawn the dog.

But if *all* essential characters are mortal now, I would suggest to uninstall or fix the responsible mod instead.
Oh. Sorry. Yes, you said so in the original post. My bad.
Have you also cleared out any and all game assets - especially the data folder - that were left after the de-installation? Deleting the mod (and all "infected" saves) is more important than re-installing anyway.
