Carriages not working!

Okay so every time I pay to use the carriage, the driver tells me to ride on back. So I get on the carriage, but...it does nothing, I waited 5 min. but I went nowhere. Please help!

The carriage will not move if you are overloaded. Check your weight limit. Similarly you cannot fast travel when overloaded unless you have a potion to Fortify Carry Weight.

Only way to fix this is to drop some goods to get within your weight limit, fast travel to a secure spot and offload some goods then fast travel back and pick up the rest of your stuff.

There are some mods that make backpacks etc. that will increase your load carrying weight.

Carriage won't move but horses will carry you no matter how overloaded you are? Thats ridiculous.

It's the driver of the carriages who make the weight limits. Quit blamimg Beth. JK, lol.
