Join the Storm cloaks etc (Spoilers prob)
Hi in the miscellaneous quest. Join the Storm cloaks, Join the imperial Legion and there are probably others. If you join all at once does this mess up the main quest story?. Or is it best to do one or the other when it says joint the......?. thanks.

Well you can't join both ... one of them will come up as failed. The only way is that you can switch allegiance by taking the jagged crown to the opposite side .... however after that switching is a no, no

Ha didnt no that thanks. You can tell how far i am in the game or ever got even though i have 100 hour plus on it lol. I keep start then restarting thinking i done it wrong. though this time i have been on it nearly 10 hour but still not joined anything. saving up for an house :P.

Depends I mean what do you do first ..... you can do for instance first the main story (wouldn't do that in one shot though) or do it like me I did bleakfalls barrow and then did the companions so I was already level 35 before I got to the Greybeards.

No. The individual quests are pretty well independant of each other, although there are some quest that need others to be completed before another becomes available. I have streched out the main quest into manageable sections, but went on side quests. For example, getting the war stopped by calling a peace council might have several side quests before I arrive at the meating, then another gap before I arrive at Dragonsreach. As another aspect I have performed theifs guild and Dark Brotherhood quest together because they both require a lot of fast travelling with very little action at the locations. That didn't break the individual quests in any way.

Ive done the golden claw that was my 1st side quest. A couple of bounty missions. Tried smithing, collecting some ore, killing random wiled life etc. Now i just killed the 1st dragon to become dragon born and meet the greybeards. but as you said i will try other quest be for doing that.
