Persistant Unwanted Mods Will Not Go Away
I started Skyrim with but a few mods, that then started to an active whopping 80+ mods. Yeah, I saw the error in that, so I deleted Skyrim and re-downloaded it. However there was a slight problem. Once it was downloaded in it's Data Files it only showed the DLC's and hi-res texture packs, that was the good thing. But it was trying to download my old mods again but upon trying to download one mod it gives me a "steam error16", and when I tried to unsubscribe to it I found out that I cannot find my mod folder, nor could I subscribe to any new mods ether. If anyone has any idea that would help please do reply, I just want to play anice game of Skyrim without it crashing due to bad mods.

have u tried to uninstall it first and then delete manually the data folders in your steamapps/common/skyrim? after uninstall the mod files are still there

try to check c:\programfiles\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim or where u have skyrim and steam installed...after full uninstall from steam try to delete all the folders and files there and let me know if it worked

deleting mods from the steam workshop is not enough you have to cancel the subscription also ... if not the launcher will indeed try to redownload them... btw it's impossible that some mods from the nexus will redownload themselves....

There are no mods in the Data folder to delete, like I said when I go into the Skyrim launcher it Looks like its trying to download the mods, but only gets the "steam error16" an Doesn't download the mod and does the exact same to the other mods. I also can't subscribe to any new mods and can't go to the in steam list of mods I already have.
