Doe the Legendary Edition upgrade the Standard Edition?
If I already own the standard edition, and buy the legendary edition, will that just give me the expansions?

Thanks, I'm buying it from the Steam store, will it still work?

yep...it will work from all vendors..since the game must be run through Steam.

The reason for putting in the key yourself is that you already own Skyrim...so Steam don't see the need to install the game.
