What FPS do you get in this location?
Hey guys, I was wondering what FPS you got in this spot in Markarth? To get there, fast-travel to Markarth, take a left, and head down the stairs. Look diagonally towards the other end of the town, similar to how I have the picture - but to the left a little further so you can see to the other end of the walkway. Preferably wait 'til around 5:30pm, in Third Person view. Try to get some of the people nearby in the frame, they'll be working and complaining about the Orc that mistreats them.

With a 780ti and an i5 2550k at 4.5GHz, I'm dropping to 45-55 here. I didn't know if that was normal. Usually I'm above 60fps in all locations, but I do drop here.

Didn't think you guys would mind, seeing as how you're browsing the forum, you're not exactly playing at the moment of typing this.

In vanilla, I thought parts of the Rift slammed fps the worst.

I think that was pre-ENB. I've got far nicer screenshots, but purposely showed one that was less impressive to avoid assumptions like that. Also stating that my FPS lowers here is quite the opposite of showing off.

Just out of interest though, here are some screenshots I've taken:

Your FPS will be hit in that area. It all depends on if you are using an ENB, what texture quality you use for the waterfalls. Texture sizes for the city. There are a lot of factors that can hit you.

I only have a 560Ti and I get 50FPS there but I run with no ENB, and use medium textures for Realistic Water Two.

I'd go so far as to say your fps drop there may be related to the fog and water combo. I know that the marshlands tend to cause my framerate to drop by as much as 20 fps despite my normal fps being 30-40 with vanilla graphics maxed.
