How to integrate Dawnguard-Heartfire-Dragonborn
I bought Skyrim when it became available and played for about 225 hours
About a year ago I bought a SKYRIM Legendary edition.
I was told that all I had to do was to put the disk in the drive and start the game, and then the add-ons should be integrated in the game.
But this is obviously not the case. Nothing of Dawnguard, Heartfire or Dragonborn is available.
So my question is simply: How do I load this in, and will I have to start the game from scratch.
I am presently at level 43, I have finished the main quest and alot of other quests, and i would like to keep this if possible.

Go to the steam app go to the tab library and then at the bottom is an option in the line of add game then you see 3 options take the middle one (activate product).

if you have not played in a year then your version of Skyrim will be out of date, make sure your game is set for automatically update.

Trigger: OK my game is one year old, but I have played it continously (300+ hours) many the last week, so i should think that it is not too old, but how do I set it up for automatic update?

SpeedFreak: The strange thing is that I have gone through this procedure before and the three .esm files are hooked off in the Data File together with some mods I have downloaded.
But it is only the basic game and the mods that are available.

Hmm probably the content is ingame however it seems the courier, dawnguard, cultists don't trigger somehow.
I would luck me 2014년 5월 7일 오전 11시 12분
Have you updated your mods? Some mods have patches for the DLC. Also, you said hooked off ... do you mean checked off? If so, just check them. Haha. Which I am sure isn't the case since you seem to know how to download mods and such. Download LOOT. Well, it's actually BOSS but at the bottom of the BOSS homepage you'll see a link for LOOT. See if that helps as it may be a bad load order.

If you look at your load order, there should be Dawnguard.esm, Hearthfire.esm, Dragonborn.esm listed and all should be checked. Assuming you don't run the patches, the order should be like this:
Skyrim.esm
Update.esm
Dawnguard.esm
HearthFires.esm
Dragonborn.esm
...all other mods

Next, each DLC may have prerequisites that you have to meet for them to trigger.

Dawnguard is available after level 10. Vampires should start to randomly attack you and guards will start to talk about the Dawnguard. You can also force the questline to start once you are the appropriate level by going to Riften where you should be approached by a Dawnguard member.

Hearthfire typically requires you to do a simple radiant quest for the Jarl of the hold you want to build a house in. Typically something like "Kill the bandit leader".

Dragonborn can be started once you visit High Hrothgar, met the Greybeards, and have started the quest "The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller". Once that quest is completed, the next time you visit a major hold, cultists should attack you. Kill and loot their bodies for a note which should start the questline.
