Wherever I meet lots of people, some of them keep telling me I look a little sickly. What's that all about?

Check your "Active Magic" tab and see what type of diease you have.
ALso, use a "Cure Diease" potion, or find a "Blessing Altar" to cure your diease

I've heard comments about my character's health from other NPCs, but the one I'm playing as is supposed to be a vampire because it fits with the custom class I created. It's called a Vampire Necroknight, and it combines four different playstyles into one. The playstyles are: Vampire, Necromancer, Ranger, and Knight. Although, I have a mod that improves Vampirism by allowing me to customize the vampire playstyle to the way I want to play. One option this mod provides is to completely negate sun damage, yet your character's health, magick, and stamina don't recover in sunlight. So I guess the class is more of a Dhampir Necroknight because my character would sometimes walk out into the sun, but I'll try to stay indoors more often than out when I can.

I don't know if this relates to your question, but playing as a vampire is one playstyle you can experience; the only way to become one in-game is to contract the disease from vampires--if you have Dawnguard, then either Harkon or Serena can make you into a Vampire Lord since they are Vampire Lords themselves.

I have played the elf or nord races. I notice with the elf, more npcs comment how "you look ill".
While as a nord, if my character hasn't slept for a couple of days, npcs then make the comment. Elves naturally "look ill" to other races because of the pale skin. Nords, on the otherhand, look ill when either being-> actually ill,<-
or just tired from not sleeping. I used to think it was a ploy by merchants, like potion makers, to get me to buy something. Keep track of how often your character sleeps and when days go by without sleep. Other than being actually poisoned or infected, it may be the answer.

Belphegor has it right. Check your Active Magic tab to see if your actually sick. The various altars scattered about the realms cure disease for free. The alchemist woman in Whiterun annoys me because she asks me if I'm sick when I know I'm not. Wants me to buy something I suppose. Save all those cure disease potions you run across, you'll use them eventually. Unless your a lycan and then your immune. ;) Then you get to listen to the guards talking about fur coming out your ears.

You'll eventually run across an immunity to disease necklace, a dragon mask that gives you immunity, and I think there is a third item, but it escapes me right now. When your fighting skeevers and bears try and watch up top left when they hit you. That is where the ...you contracted.... message appears.

Thanx again all. I'm a Nord btw. Aparently I've got Ataxia and Bone Break Fever! So I will look for shrines I guess.

Hmnn... jmc, I don't feel like one. Haven't felt the need to drink blood. I'm fine in the sun too. Maybe I should find a mirror and see what I can or can't see? :)

You usually get ataxia from sabre cats, and bone break fever from bears (which are particularly common and annoying in the SE areas, like around Riften). Rockjoint is spread by wolves, so it is probably the most common first disease for new players.

Just a little tip i use in game in skyrim and oblivion i allway's i mean always when in town use a shrine or if you have been any ware with vampire's or anything that can give you the nastie's drink one of the antidote potions that if your like me i ust to collect in my back pack and never use untill my character became a vampire

What's that all about? i have had people saying to that me after praying to the talos statue in whiterun allso the alchemist nearly always say's that my character every time i shop there again even if the character is clean think of it as a reminder

I think the villager's actual complaint is that with you around they can't see due to how sparkly you are.
