how do i put more patterms into GIMP?

what do you mean, "patterns"? Filters, or something else?

GIMP has patterns. You can get more by installing pattern files. First you have to find new pattern files, I have no idea where, but I'm sure you can google for them. Then you need to find out where to install them too. Again, google for it. I've done it but it's been years and not in Windows so I can't help you more than that unless I google it myself, but I don't want to deprive you of that pleasure.
