The german version of Elder Scrolls: Skyrim does not have Russian language section in language section menu (no voice/captions).

Hello dear Skyrim forum, I really wish you could help me.

A friend of mine from Germany has gifted me The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim game. But unfortunatelly, it does not contains the Russian language in that version. However, there is other languages which is - English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Japan (japan wtf??... It's not even in europe!). And if you bought a cheaper version of the game in Steam from Russia, you would get the Russian secrion.

And yes, I already written message to Steam Support, but they didn't really helped and even suggested to write here.

Please tell me how to get the Russian language to show up in language menu section?

However, I plan on buying a Skyrim:legendary edition russian version. If I buy or someone gifts me the Russian version of Skyrim legendary edition, would it stack with current Skyrim I have? In other words, will I have French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese AND Russian all together for Skyrim and all its DLC?

I don't know, but every account I've heard of says that the Legendary edition does not replace the things you already have. It just adds things you don't.

(Like, if you have a Skyrim base game, legendary would only add the DLC, and the Skyrim part of the legendary version just gets ignored.)

Not sure if that's also the case with different language versions, though =/

Well... Ummm... So how do I get Russian language in properties/language tab menu?? I'd be glad if you helped me. :P

ugh... that link doesn't help at all, it just helps fast sweethich between english and german IF you have english AND german language... But I don't have Russian language in the menu! Which is upsets and frustrate me so much...

I'm really need help, no one seems know how to fix it... :( this situation is rather really dissapointing and frustrating. I have no idea why steam by default doesn't let you have ALL possible languages to choose, regardless where and when you got certain game...

I tried to risk and it FINALLY add russian language to it!! and add new DLC. However, it didn't ignored the Skyrim itself unfortunately... :( Or maybe it ignored, so if I will give tht key to someone else, he will get skyrim, just without DLC?

just got russian skyrim legendary edition :P

damn, i just bought it yesterday, enough for me... Will try to copy russian files, and dissalow skyrim to update, hope this solution will work :X

No, this game event wont run, after my experiments :C
