Does the Oghma Infinium book glitch work anymore?

I've seen Youtube videos on this and they're saying either put the book on the shelf or a chest and you can read it many times to level up. Does this work anymore?

Excuse me for asking an effing question about a glitch. I came across videos on Youtube and wanted to know if it was still around. It's not, so it's time to move on.
