Official Skyrim Patch needed for the Steam version?
I've recently reinstalled Skyrim. Does this version already have the Official Patch? I'm asking because I'm about to install patches for my DLC and I hope to save some time and headaches.

My cooking pot is missing in Proudspire Manor, not to mention all the bugged quests and conflicting AI behavior.

Also, can anyone confirm that these are the right patches? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19/? Thanks in advance!

Yeah it installs as most up to date version.
You are good to install unofficial patch.

Skyrim is fully patched.

That mod is still needed because the company didn't feel like fixing their game.

The mods are Unofficial Community made patches; but the game already comes fully updated to patch 1.9

USE THE PATCHES, no matter what anyone says

My game shows it's version 1.9, but the first time I played, I didn't have quite so many issues. The cooking pot was missing. I don't remember if I used a mod from the Steam workshop or not. The only mod I found on Steam is in German, though.

I'll apply these patches and hope for the best. Thanks, everyone!

The official patch still leaves much un-patched. If it fixed everything, there would be no Un-official patch. Not to mention all the dirty edits Bethesda left in, even after the patches.

Do I need to put these patches in my steamapps folder?

Use nexus mod manager for the unofficial patch. it does all that crap for you.

BTW, you can get it for free. It may look like you have to pick a pyment option, but don't tick any, and just continue.

Sounds like a plan.

Okay, I downloaded and unzipped the patches, but they're not showing up in the mod manager. I checked Proudspire Manor. Cooking pot is still missing.

I think I'm gonna have to start a new game, as I can't buy the land in The Pale because Erandur won't leave the inn for the Waking Nightmare quest. Dismissing my follower didn't help. If I recall correctly, I had a follower when I completed that quest in a previous game. I've also run into some bugs in Blood on the Ice. The wizard is still in jail. The real killer hasn't murdered anyone else. I hate to start over now. I'm at level 41. :-(

if you download with the manager(green button labeled NMM), you shouldn't have to unzip anything.

also, you need to activate the mods in the "mods" tab on the manager. took me two days to figure that out.

Okay, I tried again. I don't see the patches under the Mods tab or Plugins. Sorry for the confusion. I don't have any experience with mods.

Will the makers still take feedback about remaining bugs to be fixed?
