Is this right?

I took a few months break from playing Skyrim. I am now getting the same quest all over again for the same character I have been playing for about 800 hours.They already show completed in my finish quest list. I get the rewards again also.

I dont think that is right, but its a nice way to collect rewards :D

I had this done to me, i had to do the whole companions quests again for some reason.

Some where repeating at the college. When I went to Whiterun, most of the side quest are restarting. So far no main quest have.

I've had the dialogue for some quests repeat but not the actual quests.

Yeah i've had completed quests restart for some reason. First companions quest they give you 'Trouble in Skyrim' which is kill a bandit at so and so, then when completed it goes into the quest where you accompany Farkas. I did the Trouble in Skyrim quest and left it to go off and do other quests etc, when i finally got around to doing more with the Companions again i spoke to Farkas and insead of going into the second mission they gave me the same mission as before 'Trouble In Skyrim'...

Also had a few side quests at Winterhold do the same sort of thing.

Some of the Companions quests do repeat themselves (animals, criminals, bandits, etc.) probably to keep the Companions quests going and that is normal (although boring). Some of the other quests, apart from the Companions, can be repeatable as well.

What quest are you referring to exactly?
