Can't stop from swinging weapon

Sometiems in the midst of battle, my weapon will keep swinging after I've stopped pressing the mouse buttons. It's like a bunch of orders to attack get quened, and once I run out of stamina, the orders automatically keep going through. As soon as a little stamina has recovered, my axe or hammer or whatever will swing, driving stamina back down to zero.

Needless to say, this really screws me up in battle because I can never recover stamina.

Anybody else had this problem? is there a way to stop it from happening?

Mod conflict? Broken mouse micro-switch? Low battery charge may cause wonky things.

I have the same problem, but not as bad as you. It is a mod conflict for me. It's tolerable so i ignore it. Mine only fights for a few seconds longer after I finish pressing the button, but not all the time, just occasionaly.

Yeah, I thought it was probably my mouse, but it still does it even after unplugging the mouse. No mods, so it can't be that. Jeez, this sucks. I guess I will have to try uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. It is getting to the point where it's hard to play and seems to be happening more frequently as I progress for some reason.
