Skyrim intro crash

everytime i hit play it goes with the intro then shuts down and takes me back to steam

That can happen if you've modified the INI file or installed some mods. Try reverting some of the last things you've done.

If you have mods, try running boss and then do any TES5 edit cleaning if boss says to

[Nefnoj]

Sometimes subscribing to mods for DLC you don't have can do that.

It's not fun.

Try turning off high res pack if you have it

I'm having this same issue. I even made a sacrifice to google and did everything that worked for other people but no luck to getting it to work...

Hi I see this thread is fairly old but I'm having the same issue, was playing fine a few days ago (havent installed any new mods) then Tuesday got on saw the bethesda logo then as soon as the dragon symbol pops up it boots me back to steam... any ideas?
