Im in the character creation screen and cant seem to move to the appearance side at the top of the interface, so i cant customize the appearance. Im also unable to use my mouse to go from the quest side of the menu (which is at the top of menu page) to the general stats or systems. Usually this is r1 or l1 on the ps3, but on PC it seems to be some unknown function. This is extremely frustrating as the only thing thats preventing me from playing is my mouse wont obey me!!! lol someone help pls

You should be able to still navigate with the Tab (selected function should high-light) and the arrow keys. In any case, is there some software like Setpoint (Logitech) or a profile/macro/kb/m/controller manager of some sort, maybe loaded playing another game and now starts on boot?
If not, simply backing-up to the desktop and deleting the: "\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Skyrim.ini" and "Documents\\My Games\Skyrim\SkyrimPrefs.ini" (two .ini files) both of which will be recreated on launch should work.

No problems. Why is it working now? If you don't mind it is nice if the original poster (you) states how they resolved the problem so that others (and there will be others) may benefit. So if you could post the solution and then change your original post's title to include (Fixed) that would be awesome.
