Ysolda, Belethor and Hulda.
Ok, starting from the beginning, many ingame days ago a vampire attack washed away Belethor's life from Skyrim's face. Back then I couldn't do much to save him, since I found him died when I arrived to place and I didn't know about the resurrection cheat.
I simply decided to accomplish Ysolda's quest and found her a mammuth tusk, I was told that if Belethor is dead and Ysolda has finished her last step from becoming a merchant, she would have took his shop instead of Hulda's Inn.
The only missing step was the town reset, that couldn't occur due to my continous visits to deposit new booty into my house.

So I decided to stay far from it for a while, used helgen's square to drop heavy stuff and free my weight, while I traveled to Ivarstead, moved to greybeards, completed several random and minor quests, moved in Falkreath, did the same there. Meanwhile my "trash deposit" grew out copious, becoming a little coloured mountain of stuff of every kind.
I started feeling the need of deposit all that stuff in a chest, stuff for a weight of 2000, specially after I got that annoying dog around me, that kept giving me troubles to drop more stuff, jumping everytime in the pile and throwing items away, or shoved my character into it to do the same thing (Seriously that dog could be scripted better... it's just a pain to have him around, he is schizophrenic).... I even think to have lost some item in the textures due to this and the weight of the upper items.

From 10 to 15 days passed, maybe even more than that, so I supposed the reset was already happened, looted up to 999 weight of items and transformed into werewolf to bring my character near Whiterun. Arrived there guards gave me the "welcome back", I noticed that the stand had back new leeks to buy, when I entered my house I found that child adopted a bunny, everything seemed fine and looked like the reset actually happened.
But, unfortunately, Ysolda still wanders like a beggar, Hulda is still in charge inside the inn, Belethor's shop is still closed and I feel like I only wasted time and suffered useless problems derivatives of my long time away from home.

Now I'm out of ideas.... Does anyone have an idea of what's gone wrong?

my problem wasn't as big as yours was where i had Ulfberth War-Bear die from a vamp attack. except i did resurrect him, since i don't want dead shopkeepers (unless it's me killing them during one of my random acts of bloodlust). still, after i resurrected him, apparently he wandered off elsewhere and couldn't open shop when it was business hours

basically what i did to solve this was open console and type prid ref id for npc which in your case is Belethor, then on the next line type 'moveto player' to bring his body to you w/o creating a duplicate. and in your case if he's dead, just resurrect him, and hopefully everything should go back to normal

what exactly are you expecting to happen? For Ysolda to take Belethors shop? that doesnt normaly happen although i guess it can under some circumstances.
theres a mod that makes NPCs run inside "when vampires attack"
sorry the post is a bit confusing

I don't mind too much about Belethor himself, I guess there are many other merchants anyway, it's just annoying that the game can break so easly, letting shops and interest points empty if the relative owner dies...

I was ACTUALLY told that, since Ysolda is trying to become a merchant, she would take over Belethor's shop instead of Hulda's Inn, if the guy is dead.. Somebody in my other thread even killed him on purpose, to let Ysolda have a free way over his shop.

From the wikia and uesp:
-Ysolda says she wishes to buy The Bannered Mare from Hulda, and if Hulda is killed, Ysolda takes over as landlady.
-If Belethor dies, she will take over his shop.

Among her factions: Belethor's Goods; WhiterunMarketShoppers

Hmm, that's strange, could be a bug. I accidentally killed Belethor by feeding on him twice as a vampire (okay, not that accidentally...) and next time I visited Whiterun (not even that long after, IIRC) there she was, in the store. She did keep saying she was hoping to become a merchant, though, but she happily bought my stuff.

Yeah I expected that too... It didn't happen instead... Looks like Skyrim's doing everything to break my game, Belethor died that I was lv 8 only for example...

What can I try to do yet?
