out of my 5-6 playthroughs ive only ran into 1 glitch that i noticed but then again i dont pay attention to miniscule things that dont really effect game play at all
SKY UI 4 removes a lot of the console disease regarding Inventory. But there are a few irritating gremlins.

How glitchy? Hmm, I'd say that once you get your game going, you don't really care about it..It isn't that bad to be honest.

how often does it freeze?
Depends on your setup and especially how many mods you have running/installed in the past.

Vanilla game? Very stable, at least in the 2 machines I've tried.

I was an idiot enough to get the ps3 version...... is it worth getting the pc version if I already have that one?
Hell YEAH!

PC only way to go mate. Leave the console for Tekken and GTA man...

ive never had a freeze or a crash

i dont have any mods or any patches either just expansions
graphics will be better on pc and i think these games are easier to play on pc but ive never been much for using controllers ive always been mainly pc gamer

if you do want it for pc go to the store and get the anthology so you can get every scroll + all expansions, cheapest way to go $70 i think

I guess thats up to you, vanilla is no different graphically and gameplay-wise from the console versions, so is the PS3 version so cruddy that its worth shelling out money for all over again?

I mostly like the idea of I game I disliked mostly for its glitches reducing its glitches aswell as having mods
Whats the specs of your PC? Then someone should be able to tell you if its capable of playing it smoothly.
The game is fairly stable and has only a few minor bugs; but this doesn't matter if you plan on modding the game; as that compounds stability/bug issues
The only glitches I've encountered (apart from those induced by mods) were with the dlc quests, and thanks to console commands, they're a much easier fix than say if it were on the Xbox or Playstation.
Shocks is right if you mod the game you will probably get a bump or two from time to time. But the modded game is far superior to the regular game to get full enjoyment you have to mod and take the CTD's from time to time. Save Often
