Old Games - Original Format or HD Remastered

There are a bunch of titles I want to replay. However, a bunch of the games on the list now have remastered HD version and I'm stuck between playing these games on their original format or playing them spread out across different OS's and new consoles, in HD.
So I decided to source the crowd.

Would you rather play games in their original format or play HD Remastered versions when you can?

Metal Gear Solid 3, Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: SanAndreas, Final Fantasy X, The Warriors, Red Dead Revolver, God of War, Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, Onimusha 3: Demon Siege and Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.
There are also bunch of games that have no remasted version that I want to play: Lord of the Rings: Two Towers, NHL: 2004, NHL: 2005, MLB: 2005, Fight Night 2004, Onimusha 1&2, The Getaway, and Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven

either or it doesn't really matter, though the old games i want steam doesn't have nothing against them they do as good a job as they can and that's all we can ask. I would personally like to see Tiger Woods PGA tour 2005 in the store in HD as well as True Crime New york city, two games that are great as they are but would be epic in HD!

Yeah I can buy PGA tour on there too but most are used and I usually don't buy used DVD's,CD's or games online. though i plan on buying both those games the sellers just want like $40 bucks new for one, that's expensive though.
