I just bought an amazing gaming rig - Ultra settings still bad

Hi all, as the title says, I have a top notch gaming computer. I installed a few mods, including some improved texture mods but I still seem to have bad graphics, even when every graphic setting is maxed out. Notice the below screenshot, and the draw distance fades out really close and just looks terrible. Any idea why this is happening?

That's just how it is in Vanilla, there are countless mods you can play with to enhance your experience. :)

Which texture mods SHOULD I use? I had the "unoffical skyrim patch" (which bugged my game and wouldn't let me get souls from dragons), annd some minor mods that enhanced water, blood splatter, and the 3 resolution mods provided via dragonborn (i think thats where they are from).

go through this, word by word, install things like SKSE, Boss, and use NMM, don't bother with the workshop on Steam.

I also hope you've installed your graphics card drivers from nvidia.

Those graphics also looked like the 'vanilla' graphics in Skyrim, you're not missing out on anything extra.

When looking for other mods, google skyrim nexus and simply click on files on the top banner, and click on "Top Files" and then click on Most endorsed filles of all time

THIS is a mod that shows A LOT of beautiful texture mods, if you scroll through the description, you'll find a list of mods that will make your game look insane, and your computer will be able to handle it. Watch one of the videos and you'll understand.
