Crashes

I re-installed skyrim after about 6 months of being away and now im getting crashes whenever i load or save. I haven't downloaded any new mods since then and i tried playing without mods with no effect. Before i uninstalled i rarely ever crashed. Please help

maybe yor mods need an update: look in nexus mod manager if they do. 6 months away, i wont be suprise if some need a new update

i let all the updates download before starting. Sometimes it would say that it failed to get data for certain mods so i uninstalled those but it still crashes

mods from workshop need also to be unsubscribed if you dont use them or de-install (just in case)

okay i tried that but i also went back and deleted my old saves. Some took up around 60 mb. I started playing and spammed quicksave and quickload with no crashes so far. I think one of those fixed the problem. Thanks for the help

Also, get and install the 1.7 version of SKSE. It changes a memory management choice Bethesda made long ago to something actually reasonable for PCs. Long story short - it will cut yor incidence of CTD significantly.
