Was Dawnguard really that short? (Spoiler alert)

Well, I bought Skyrim Ledgendary Edi and after playing for a while I decided to play through the Dawnguard Quests (I didn't want to at first, bucause I thought I'd have to become a vampire)
I started playing and same day (Bout 2-2.5 hours later) I came to play the final battle to kill the vampire lord (I chose to NOT become a vampire) After killing him I can't seem to find any more quests, there were only few side quests that I found and those were completed in minutes...
So, have I missed anything or is it really that short?

its a DLC, not a full prize game...
actually the time depends on you, if you rush trough the DLC you wont see much of the extra stuff...
you may come back later to collect it, but thats lame bro...
take your time, look in every corner and multiply the time you need x10... just dont rush, you dont need to hurry, do some side quests.

Umm, it took me like 15+ hours to do evereything in Dawnguard.

Sounds like you ran trought the DLC. In that case it is that short. The vale alone can take several hours, because there is a lot to study and to do.

Hmm...you can't really do wrong in single player game, if you pass the questline without cheating. Sweet just didn't take sweet time to look around.

I have to slow myself down sometimes as I get excited when I hit a new quest. Not rushing through as NightCore said is the answer but sometimes it is hard to slow yourself down. And going back after you clear a dungeon is really not fun.

Wow are you playing this game like an hardcore Quake player or what? I thought the questline for Dawnguard was long. I guess I'm like that. I like to take my time.

Considering the time it can take to deal with a few side quests and exploration in that spirit place I'd say you rushed it majorly...
Kinda like calling the first assassin's creed a 12- hour game because you could rush it in that sorta time without too much trouble

But well, I'll go back again and explore it even more!

I agree, there are a lot of side quest from the vampires in the castle.

I suggest you find Arvak. You know, it's just a conjurable horse that you can summon anywhere.

Or maybe the 2 hidden Shellbugs? Craft yourself an helmet of that.

Well, I guess I were too excited to actually go exploring.

I am doing the Dawnguard dlc right now and it seems pretty long. Not sure how many hours I put into it but if I completed it today I would still think it was pretty long and I have been doing all the side quests I can find.

I got the horse, and it sits in my chest now doing nothing. It may have been glitched because it did nothing from the onset. Is there some trick to making it work? LOL... and ya, I thought Dawnguard was a bit light, even for an expansion, and I did everything, except stand around and wait for the girl who does something with weapons to do her thing. It just seems that that expansion went by so quickly, or maybe I just wanted out of the soul area; didn't much like that area.

Now I'm stuck trying to train a dragon, and fly as we may, it seems endless and he never goes anywhere but in a circle... LMAO Maybe I'm just very good with exotic animals.
