I can't play this game
... because whenever I start a new game I - shortly after - find another awesome mod that I want to install which forces me to restart.

Am I the only one?

Make a clean save without any Mods and any DLC's after you leave Helgen. To change your rave you could then use "showracemenu" (idk but there are some report of buggy charperks after using that). But you are not alone ;)

There are very few mods that "require" a restart of the game. I have installed about 80 on the same playthrough and it works fine. Have you heard of the Nexus??.. But I do understand about the constantly finding new mods.

I've never restarted just for a mod. If you're unsure, do a total backup before installing, but most mods will be OK.

lol, that made me laugh. Yeah, don't go crazy with the mods, OP.

Me, I used to select mods designed for a particular character and then just use those mods for a playthrough. Then unsubscribe, clean the game up, and pick new mods for a new character. After having tried many, many mods, I'm now testing a collection that'll work for a lot of different builds, so I don't have to do that anymore.

I have about ~180 mods installed. I know how you feel.
