Skyrim Broken Textures Help.
I got the Tropical Skyrim mod by AceeQ awhile ago, and have since removed it. Now the stone walls in Whiterun and other towns are like a desert yellowish color and I can't figure out how to fix it. I have tried getting other retextures but none of those worked. I looked it up but found nothing. I also validated my game files and it said foudn 1 missing file. I though that would fix it, but nope. I even uninstalled then reinstalled the entire game, but it's still there. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this issue it would be appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Did you follow the author's instructions on how to remove/disable the mod? Also, when you tried to get other retextures do you mean installing more mods to fix the issue?

Just to test, start a new character to see if you have the same issue. That will let you know if it is a script from a previously installed mod that is bound to your save file.

I looked at the mod's page and could not find any guide on uninstalling it. I just uninstalled it using Nexus mod manager. And yes, I tried to see if other mods could replace the texture but had no luck there.

I just started a new character and the mod texture was still there.

This may be dumb but have you checked your "Data files" in the launcher to see if any texture mods are still active (checked)?

Yeah, I checked those. no texture files are checked except for the high res dlc.

By the way, it isn't liek a completely new texture replacing the default. It looks like the same stone wall textures but with a yellow tint. I just tried disabling the high res dlc but that didn't work either.

I figured it out. I deleted my data folder in the Skyrim directory then verified the files. I had to reinstall all of my mods though, but at least the textures are fixed. Thank you for trying to help.
