The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Mods I should get for Skyrim
Hello fellow skyrim players! I was wondering what kind of mods I should get.

try getting some 3rd person animations like the yy animations or something along those lines. get a body mod like cbbe and unp with the armor replacers (you can get boob and butt physics if you really want it) and shlongs for skyrim if you like equality.
but these are all very common and easily found.
i do recomend http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1603/? it is a mod that allows you to change your walk/run/sprint speeds, very useful

some must-have mods are SKSE (you will need to google it) skyUI and either enhanced character edit or race menu (for making you look pretty :3).

you can find these and many more mods at the nexus, it is the link i have already provided.
None, until you read the stickies, and review "gophers" basic modding videos.
Google 'Skyrim Beautification Project' around 20+ pages listing mods form nexus and others from fixes/NCP/followers/armour/ ENBs and comments on them whats good or not and how to install/in what order/cleaning/SKSE and more.
Graphic mods, only if ur PC is powerful enought

If you have time read the S.T.E.P guide.
Watch Gopher vids on youtube.

And go often on Nexus to learn which mod is good for what etc.
This. What do you want? How well does your game run? etc.
Dova Chicken! He carries your stuff, now with fus ro cluck shout!
SkyUI, skse and SkyRe are a must, rest are optional
Forget SkyRe, Reqiem is where it's at.
Depends how long you've been playing for IMO. If you've barely done any quests, wait. Play the game unmodded (apart from Unofficial Patches and maybe SKUI) to get a feel of it, then you can decide what it is that you want to improve/change.
I highly advise to do your first playthrough without mods. Otherwise it will ruin your experience. When you're very familiar with the game after around 150-200 hours you can go check the skyrim nexus: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim
(steam workshop sucks and will break your game after some time because of auto install and mod compatibility issues.) In the nexus go to top files and tick most endorsed of all time. There you go. Or check the categories for specific things like armor or weapons. Just keep in mind to always tick "most endorsed of all time". With this procedure the website directly shows you the best mods without the need to browse 34000 files. Installing mods might seem easy but you will 100% destroy your savegame and your whole installation if you just install and uninstall everything you please without checking compatibility problems, scripts etc. Look up gopher on youtube he has the best skyrim modding tutorials in english.

One advise though: Check the files you install for scripts. (search for a folder called "scripts") Scripts are bad m'kay. Only install script mods which you will definitly never uninstall. Once you save with a script mod it gets attached to your savefile and if you uninstall this specific mod your save will suffer permanent damage.
The Skyrim G.E.M.S resource is pretty good too
Beginners should start here: Skyrim Nexus: Most endorsed files of all-time[www.nexusmods.com]
I would recommend to use only the Unofficial patches, and SkyUI. all other mods would be subject to preference.
Anything that involve sexy naugthy bits :B1:
I like the smaller, more atmospheric mods, like Guard Dialogue Overhaul or Wet and Cold -- they make the game a bit more immersive without changing the core gameplay. Also Useful things like Unlimited Bookshelves and the one I can't remember the name of, that lets you melt things like daggers or goblets back into ingots. . .
