HELP The R and E keys in inventory dont work!!!! WHY

E is used mainly for giving ♥♥♥♥ to compainions.... R is used for spending dragon souls.... But when i press thsoe keys nothing happens. there not listed in the constoles under settings at all.... its kinda game breaking, if you know why please help!!!

They are listed just not like what your looking for, go to controls Activate is listed as E by default and r is to holster weapons etc. (the game uses the same key for talking to companions and spending souls, but its the same function, ie if you change activate from E to say l, you would then need to push l to command your companions etc)

If you have changed the defaults for these functions, they try the key you have assigned. Similary, If you have not changed the keys for these actions, then try changeing them etc.

Also you cannot access the key binds from the main menu for some reason you have to start a game first, then you can access controls from the menu.

Reset your keys back to default settings and it works. Sometimes when you reassign a key and try to change it back it doens't work and so resetting back to defaults is only option that works.
