Question about enchanting..
I have recently trying to make an amulet that gives huge amount of boost to smithing. I have firts done fortify alchemy, then went and done a enchant potion. Again another amulet etc. But i'm stuck at 24%. My fortify alchemy is at 31% and alchemy skill is at 95 with all perks that contribute towards potion strength.

Are they cumulative, if i make two amulets, necklace and ring example, or is it totally useless?

Any tips how to prgress in this one, can't seem to get better enchanting potion than 24%?

What is your enchanting skill, what perks do you have, and what kind of soul gem are you using? You can't (without mods, anyway) wear multiple amulets or rings, but if you enchant multiple items of different types with fortify Smithing, they will stack. You can put Fortify Smithing on a necklace, a ring, a pair of gloves/gauntlets/bracers and a 'chest piece' (i.e. a main item of clothing - body armour, robes, blacksmith outfit, whatever) so that's a total of four items.

To get the best enchantments you need to use black soul gems or Grand soul gems obviously anything less gives you percentage lesser quality gear!

I've played skyrim a very long time and getting enchanting up is a struggle until you have gotten it very high. all items you craft give you an increase in enchanting and strangely Banishment seem to give the biggest monetary reward ..which in turn gives the largest increase to enchantment skills
But if you fill a couple of swords with weak souls and keep them topped up with cheap soul gems regularily that will increase enchanting on a regular basis!
Further detail you can find here http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Enchanting
As UESP wiki is the font of Skyrim knowledge
hope that helps

Basically to get the highest alchemy gear and enchanting gear, you need to get smithing to 100, alchemy to 100 and have all 5 perks in the first one 5/5 and 1/1 for benefactor, and for enchanting it needs to be 100 aswell.

Craft 1 set of alchemy gear at the echantment table with eithe grand/black soul gems (should say 25% better), put the gear on and make 4 fortify enchanting potions at the alchemy table. Go back to the enchantment table and make a new set of alchemy gear by drinking the 4 potions and using grand/black soul gems and the new set comes out at 28% better.

Then back to the alchemy table wearing your new 28% better gear, make 4 more potions of fortify enchantment. Back to the enchantment table and drink those with 4 grand/black soul gems make you final Alchemy gear should be 29% better.

Then wearing your 29% better alchemy gear make 4 potions of fortify enchanting and 4 potions of fortify smithing and make your Smithing gear at the enchantment table using grand/black soul gems. Put on your smithing gear and when you improve your armour at the table or grindstone drink the fortify smithing potions and that gives you the highest weapon improvement.

That is for Legendary edition but I think it might have been 32% or 33% in the vanilla base game.

My enchant is at 100, have the benefitting perks and also the "2 enchantments to one item" Smithing is at 84, but i'm gonna train it to 100 before i go smithing.

I have a necklace and a ring that both have 31% better smithing and alchemy. That gives me that 24% fortify enchanting potion at alchemy table. If they do stack, then i'll do more gear. I have only necklace and a ring as alchemy gear at the moment.

You also need to wear a helmet and either boots or gauntlets (can't remember which) so that might be the reason its only going to 24%. Theres 4 things you need to wear for both Smithing and Alchemy.

Circlet or helmet plus gauntlets/gloves/bracers, for alchemy (as well as necklace/ring, of course.)

Is there any max for this that has been achieved? I gained now to 28% enchanting potion. Alchemy and smithing are 32% better now. I'm wearing:
-Ring
-Necklace
-Gauntlets
-Helmet (only alchemy)
used grand souls in all of them. Shuold i drink more than one potion? I thinkg they don't stack, it wuold be too easy like that :D

Wuups, edit that. Potion is on 33% now. I had clicked on the wrong necklace :D But what is the max that this has been used to?
A second ring mod might help you get to wherever you are going with this.

I'm not too fond of mods like that. Graphic mods etc are good but to me that seems a bit like cheating. I just wanna see how good weapon/armor i can greate within the rules that Skyrim sets.

Yeah, im guessing your not playing Legendary edition - they set the maximum to 29% on LE but on normal base game without dlc etc it was 33%. It doesn't get higher than that so make an alchemy gear set of 33% and smithing gear at 33% and they are the ultimate ones you can use. Wear your 33% alchemy gear and make some fortify smithing potions and you've got the best possible armour/weapon sets when you improve them when wearing your 33% smithing gear.

There are some glitches you can use to get even higher but its not worth it really.

Oh ok, good to know so i won't waste my time with trying to get more then.
not sure if anyone else has said this but if you have Dragonborn dlc you can get a set of armor and some relic's, and if you wear 4 of them you get a boost to enchanting
