Skyrim mods not working after some kind of sync
I've been playing modded skyrim for almost a year and it's always worked fine until this showed up http://pcgamingwiki.com/images/thumb/5/57/Steam_Cloud.jpg/200px-Steam_Cloud.jpg (it was like this but obviously for skyrim) I ignored it, and nothing happend. This message popped up every time I loaded up skyrim. Then one day, my mods just stopped working after ignoring this messege as I always have. I've reaenstalled NMM and skyrim, turned off cloud syncing and no luck. Its like my game no longer excepts esp.s. Some one help! I can't be the only one haveing this problem! I can't go back to vanilla skyrim!

you need to turn on the data files in the skyrimpref.ini

bEnableFileSelection=1

make sure that line has a 1 and not a 0 or mods will not work.

Any idea if/when this will be fixed?

The two main ways to mod skyrim is through Steam (not recommended) or through Nexus (highly recommended)

I know steam gets annoyed at having the finger wagged at it, but it is not a full on utility when it comes to modding...it just isn't.

I use the nexus to mod my game
