Do you have Tes5 Edit? A quick run of that could point you to an easy solution if its just a load order issue.

did a fresh install after few months of not playing,i decided to give it a run without mods till i reachd enterance to skyrim,reached skyrim saved and went about my day,everything was working great,was thinking dam man feels good to come back after a longtime,was gonna pick through some old mods and get some new ones later in day which i never did,got home was like f it i wanna play after a long day,went to fire it up,clicked continue from save and bam crashed to desktop,i have no enb or mods installed at the moment,verified game,deleted all the config files other then saved games,reset everything and still crashing,im at a loss as to why? wtf! any ideas as to why this could be happening?got a decent os,plenty of ram,so on and so forth,any help would be much appreciated,all the tuts on fixes i seen have to do with mod related issues,this a vallina install,thanks anyone as to maybe why and fixes,thanks in advance.

You should start your own thread. But while we are here, to start when you verified the cache did you remove the appcache folder out of your steam folder before verifying?
