Carriage isn't working?
So I tried to travel to riften using the carriage (beside the stables) but it won't travel!
He keeps saying "Ready to go yet?" etc. I've tried to seperate places, but still...

You have to go to the back of the carriage and activate it so you'll get on.

I can sit on the carriage, but it doesn't move, it just stands there..

He can't select a city, so getting in the back won't help.
