I heard about this game having crash to desktop issues. Did those get fixed?

P.S is there a mod that replaces the word 'Dragon' with Wyvern? My D&D days spoiled me on intellegent four legged creatures that could fly and gather valuable minerals of the earth that also knew how to speak. Now they're portrayed as mindless beasts that somehow lost their forarms because 'Muh realism' and cgi/animation constraints :(

I've never experienced this moreso than any other game out there.
