Class or Hybrid, how are you playing?

I've seen people taling about playing specific classes.
But I've never played a specific class.
Most of the times I am playing someone with heavy armor, a bow, some spells and two one-handed weapons.

I usually pick a class playstyle and stick to it. Old habit from Morrowind, Oblivion, and years of RPGs.

I personally almost always go for mages, but right now I'm playing a ranger for a change.

No. That's not how it is done.

Right now I play a hunter/beastmaster. Basically I have mods that making it possible to live in the wild, and a mod to tame animals.

I've got twenty-two characters so far, so I'd say they mostly hybrid classes that are common in RPGs or based on classes from other RPGs. A few are pure classes, and one or two is based on history if I recall correctly.

I stick with one character until I'm done with her and then move onto the next one in my arsenal.

alright, i've tried the manager out, when i use it the game crashes sometimes. but most of the time it is ok.
can you manage mods for your profile somehow? so the mod is only active if you use a specific profile.

There are no classes in this game, which is reason number 3 that I love it so much. Who you are is what you have done. So the question "class or hybrid" does not even compute. There are no classes to hybridize. This is a very good thing. You can make up your own class if you want, or just go with the flow. Picking a general direction and seeing where events lead you is a very fun way to play.

Don't think of a class to play, think of a character to play. Choose your aptitudes, attitudes, background, etc. Let's say you want to be a mage. WHY are you a mage? WHAT kind of mage? Is magic something you study, or a wild talent? What do you do besides magic? What are your hobbies? Who are your family? Why are you in Skyrim? Etc, etc. It doesn't have to be extensive, just a vague idea in your head is good enough to set you off in a direction.

I'm not referring to a mod; I'm talking about all the characters I've created whose save games are still present for me to use when playing. I've made others in the past, but I've also deleted a lot since I no longer had much interest in what builds some of those characters were. Just recently I've created another character the other day, so now I have twenty-three characters so far.

I'm playing something that does not fit together in my oppinion. Heavy armor, sneaking, bow and arrow, two one-handed weapons and some spells.
