6MB is normal, dude. Give more details on the problem. Are you using any mods and stuff? Did you uninstall one of them? And where did you save your game?

well, whatever. I'll just leave this here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46465.

Use this Safety Load tool and you are guaranteed to fix your infinite loading screen. There, problem solved. End of topic

And the use SSME instead of Safety load: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50305/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D50305%26preview%3D&pUp=1
SSME deals more in memory management, it doesn't always help in infinite load screens, while as for Safety Load, it was specifically made to prevent infinite load screens. Seriously, there's too many people here complaining about this infinite loading problem yet never bothering to try the very tool.
USE SAFETY LOAD, simple as that

Well I just looked at the comments for safety load and there are people who have this installed and after alt-tab the problem was back so not entirely a guarantee.

No, the SKSE 1.7+ handles the infinite loading screens. So you not only get that, but you also get the benefits of using SSME.
wrong. SKSE implements the memory patch that SSME uses, not Safety Load. Just go and read the changelog if you cant get the picture. Getting SKSE 1.7 is the same as getting SSME, that's all there is to it.

So you're saying SKSE and SSME do exactly the same thing? What's the point of SSME then, doesn't everyone use SKSE these days?
No, only the latest version of SKSE has the memory patch (1.7 just came out of Alpha). So either get SSME or SKSE 1.7. Even the SSME author says so:
"If you're using the new build of SKSE that has support for changing the memory allocation values, you don't need SSME."
If you use both, SSME will just overwrite the SKSE function.

That might explain why I had to add the SSME fix to my installation; I probably didn't have the latest version of SKSE. But, SSME definitely fixed the infinite loading screens for me. Once LOOT sorted my loading problems, I was hitting that memory glitch all the time. SSME was a godsend.
Nope. No mods. I searched it up and most people complained that it happened when their save reached 6 mb so i said that aswell. Anyways thanks for the links!

OK, thanks for clearing that up.
Ditto. Thanks from me too for clearing up my confusion. It was bothering me (slightly).

So I have the latest version of SKSE, AND I have SafetyLoad, AND I STILL have the infinite load screen. So it's not "as simple as that." Got any other ideas? I run BOSS load order with NexusModManager and never had a problem until today. Yesterday the game worked fine, today I get on and bam infinite load screen. I literally did not touch my computer in the mean-time, so I have absolutely no idea how or why this happened. But if anyone can help beyond suggesting "use Safety load" I would really appreciate it.
