Is the number of skill trees (18) hard coded?

I would love Bethesda to release the source code so that we can bring the game to 2014/2015 technical standards!

Yes, it is hard coded. And no, you will not get the source code.

Why is that such a big deal? Every other part of Skyrim has been modded to hell and back, but skill trees are untouchable?

New skill trees have been added, and perks have been made (Such as Dwemer Ceritifed)
