The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Game won't launch/crash after clicking play [SOLVED]
Hi there everyone! Latley I've been trying to get my skyrim working again after playing an hour of it 2 years ago. So when I click play in the steam library the skyrim splash shows up that has play and option buttons. When I click play on the splash, nothing happens. On steam it says that I am playing skyrim for about 2 seconds and then it says I'm online.

I have been browsing the internet trying to find a soltion but nothing seems to work.
Here are a few things I tried:
Fresh Install of the game (did this like 4-6 times)
Run with compatibility
Run as Adminstrator
Reinstalled Mircrosoft Visual C++
Reinstalled Microsoft XNA
Specific startup (to remove any background programs)
Downloaded SKSE
Verified files under Steam > Library > Skyrim > Properties

I really want to start playing Skyrim since I didn't get a chance to when I bought it. If there is any other solutions you guys find, please help me out.
