Have Priests of Arkay resulted to necrophilia?
I may have mispelled that. Simple question that popped up in my mind today, after hearing a nerophilia related joke.
Anyways, back on topic. I'm not sure if this was mentioned in other TES games, as Skyrim's my only one. There was that one moment in Oblivion, not sure if she was a priest though. Being around the dead all the time, there's a chance they would've comitted necrophilia.

Fat chance. I'm pretty sure the priests know that Arkay won't be happy if they desecrated the dead.

I mean, if I was Arkay and that happened, I'd mass Dread Zombie the whole Hall of the Dead on that priest/priestess.

Then it wouldn't be a priest of Arkay, it would be a priest of Namira. And the joke is pretty much in bad taste, you know. I'm not laughing.

I think there's a Necrophile in Yngol barrow. I think it was a High Elf Necromancer who who had intercourse with some dead milkmaids in Dawnstar.Namira's followers might do the dead but its like putting your ♥♥♥♥ in a burger and then eating it, then again Namira likes spiders so if she can handle spiders than she might.

First off, are you saying a priest of Arkay can't be a necrophiliac?

Secondly, who made you the arbiter of humor? Get over yourself.

There's basically one in every ES game. No interspecies marriage with khajit though because I guess that would be gross or something. #snerk

Idk maybe, but Arkay wouldn't be too pleased. I don't think Namira's worshippers would be necrophiles, seeing as that's like f*cking your food.
And that joke really is in bad taste. :/

1) I don't expect necrophilia to be allowed in their rulebook. Would you send your dead relative to a priest of Arkay if he/she was going to get laid as a corpse? Wasn't chaos and/or repulsiveness the work of daedra, not aedra?

2) Who claimed that I was making myself as an arbiter of humor? I just thought that this was too sick and twisted to be funny.

Oh I'm sorry, I forgot that I must write a disclaimer each time I state a personal opinion.

I also forgot that freedom of speech is an illusion, even when a negative opinion is being stated. Because negative opinions surely aren't a natural part of individuality, as much as all round positive all embracing liberalism...

Did I just start an arguement from posting a joke that I found on reddit.
Well, this is the internet, what was I to expect.

For what, asking a question? No, I'm not deleting this. Don't jump to such conclusions. A more logical solution would be to simply remove the damn joke.

Didn't know something that was mentioned in the previous game was too disturbing now, my bad! I don't care about the reference at all. Not like anyone's going to give a damn but you. I wasn't trying to be funny referencing it, and it was my only question. I'm glad there's some people that can answer a question.

What are you on about? You have the freedom to say what you want here(within reason), and I have the free to respond to it. I fail to see how that is an illusion, unless you start to go down the "if I can't do anything I want, then I'm not really free" path, which I don't think you are dumb enough to do.

Also, I probably overreacted to your post.

Freedom of speech is being able to say what you want, not saying whatever the f*ck you want and expecting nobody to object. People are going to disagree with you, just deal.

Freedom of speech DOES NOT mean freedom from criticism
Soundpulse 28. aug. 2014 kl. 19:16
Can we get back on the only few topics?
Would having to watch over the dead all the time drive them to necrophilia?

Exactly. It's not that hard to take criticism when it's the constructive kind. Something with grey areas. But what I don't take is someone flat out suggesting / assuming that I'm a certain kind of person (control freak etc), based that one opinion alone. We are real people, not two dimensional cardboards.

And I still think that it's poor taste to joke about necrophilia. But then again, I think that even pedobear is poor taste.
