Game crashes almost instantly when loading saves.
Update.esm is also missing from the Skyrim Launcher's data files.
I can't find it in my data options.
The game crashes every time I load a save. It immediately crashes when I click load.
I'd appreciate help. :c

Help, please. :<

update esm isn't listed in the data tab in the launcher if I'm right ... no indeed it's also not listed in my data tab. Note also that skyrim.esm isn't listed however those files do exist.

Open game before play, is data option, look there and make sure boxes are ticked.

I did that.
Unticked all mods too.

I saw it there a couple of days ago.
Somehow it's gone now.
I'm still not sure if this is causing my crashes.
Before, the game crashed 5 minutes when I load a save.
Now it crashes almostly instantly when I click "load".

Verified gamecache?

Need NMM or LOOT to see skyrim.esm and skyrim update.esm. If you can untick mods etc you are in the game, it is there.
Advise install LOOT and unofficial patches.

I got the NMM. The update.esm is there, and ticked.
Game still crashes nonetheless.
No idea why.
Only thing I know is that the update.esm disappeared from the data files when launching the game.

Yep. Did that. :<
Note: It doesn't crash when starting a new game.
Maybe due to mods, though all of them have been uninstalled.

Skyrim and its update maybe two esms they are as one, open game in steam then you have them.
Your issue is not with them but what mods you added and removed (deactivated).

I have no mods installed currently.

Loot suggets I load the esm's in this order:

Skyrim.esm
Update.esm
Unnoficial Skyrim Patch.esp
Dawnguard.esm
Hearthfires.esm
Dragonborn.esm

-------------------------------------------------------------------

So I have done, crashing still consists.
I'm using the NMM to launch the game.

You need the unofficial patches for the other 3 DLCs, install those, remove all saves from user name/mygame/skyrim/saves (all of them). Then install SKSE (third party launcher) and start game from its desktop icon (not from steam)(if you intend to mod do this).
Start game from new(should not have 'continue' written there, just new.). Play game until out of Helgen (cave) then save game (this is your clean save). You may add mods from now on but read modders descriptions on what requirements are needed to make mods work.

Aww maaaan.
I'm level 41 on this character. :<
I can't bear the quests again.
This sucks. :c

Game worked perfectly a couple of days ago, except the minor crashes from time to time. Now the saves won't load at all. :<
★Kelvy★ 22. aug. 2014 kl. 3:32
LOL!!. Then add the other unofficial patches and reinstall the mods you remove and try and play from the last save. That option one.
Or do the same add the patches and go back to when game was working and try again if works save and then add mods, or as above options.
Your saves are holding the errors and thats why you are getting this.
Maybe only a level or two back.
By the way how many mods did you take out of the game in one hit.
