Requiem vs. SkyRe(Or another overhaul mod?)
Which do you prefer and why and also what all patches do you use to make it stable. I always experience crashes when using either of them.

I also want to know if there's something better than SkyRe. SkyRe is all I've used and I love it but sorta bored of it now. Anyone?
Have you used Requiem Andrew???

Nope and I don't plan to until I hear more about it. All I know is It's much more challenging than SkyRe and SkyRe is pretty difficult already so idk If I want that.
Research it some on YouTube xD
I am playing requiem for a time but I never had try skyre...
so I can't make a comparaison.

SkyDie: Prepare to Cry Edition over Requiem. It is basically a lot of the core idea behind Requiem, except without all of the incompatibilities. Unless there is some specific feature you want from Requiem that you just can't get from any other mod, then SkyDIe is the better choice.

Now as far as comparing SkyDie to SkyRe goes, they shouldn't be compared since they have very different gameplay ideas. SkyDie is for the more old-school RPG feel, SkyRe is more like regular Skyrim with a lot of tweaks.

I like SkyRe myself, but I also prefer the feel of Skyrim over hardcore RPGs.

I may have to check out SkyDie sounds interesting :)
Requiem is an great mod, but it is a pain to setup if you are already running multiple mods, especially mods that introduces new armors and weapons. Skyrim Redone uses ReProccer to solve most incompatibilities and saves a lot of time and frustration. But I don't care for Skyrim Redone because of most the changes it makes and the ridiculous amount of skill perks added.

Requiem on the other hand makes a lot of changes that I feel is more realistic in a RPG sense. One example is, if you are not trained to use heavy armor then wearing armor will steadily deplete your stamina. But there is so many changes that Requiem makes that it would be better to just thoroughly read through the official manual that you can download from the mod page. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19281/?

I use Requiem and I love it. Most mods I use have patches for it or don't mess with the changes it makes.
Wow that SkyDie is super intense that's even more intense than old school RPGs

It's not very different from Requiem.
It's a bit more hardcore than Requiem.

I actually use ACE Combat Skills over both SkyRe and Requim as I prefer the module based approach where I can pick the features I want, and it is greatly more compatable with a lot of other mods that I have that touch the features that I also want changed.
I actually like having all my eggs in a basket, so I'm currently using Requiem. I like it a lot. It is a challenge. Skydie looks a bit harder, but very similar. It doesn't seem like it is as beneficial to mages as Requiem is. Mages don't typically invest in stamina, so they will often have less to begin with and the spell descaling is murder. I also really like the racial bonuses, standing stones, and divines in Requiem. Not sure if SkyDie does anything with that. I will stick with Requiem and I recommend it. I use the patches and had LOOT sort my load order, and honestly the mod I have the most issues with is Enhanced Cities and towns, not Requiem.

My god I know what you mean. ETaC is so great and terrible at the same time.
