Deathbrand VS Daedric Armor?
I'm having a hard timing finding out which one is better. Could any of you help me. I just want the best armor out of these two. So which one has a better armor total?

I just want to know which one is better. Like how much is the armor total.
daedric is better, even though deathbrand is newer, daedric armour still is better.
Why is deadric better then dragon scale/bone? You can get more out of dragon.
Comparing them directly, Deathbrand is better.

Daedric armor set is 108 def (144 with shield). Unenchanted.

Deathbrand has 78 def (set does not have a shield) but wearing the full set gives the following bonuses:
  • +60 stamina
  • +40 carry weight
  • +40% one-hand damage only when dual-weidling
  • waterbreathing
  • +100 def for a total def of 178
Deathbrand has a higher def rating than other sets even with the shield worn. If you're a basher, you can use Stalhrim shields which match the armor for 29 more def but you lose out on the one-hand bonus but you can add enchantments on the shield if needed.

The set also comes with two one-handed swords that together have health and mana absorb that also has a chance to lower both armor and magic resistance. Swords also synergize well with the one-hand damage armor bonus but you can swap out dual weapons to suit your foes.

As a general, all-around set, Deathbrand trumps Daedric but Daedric can be better when applying enchantments for specific uses.

Dragonplate is 102 def (136 def with shield) and Dragonscale is 82 def (111 with shield), respectively.

Check the UESP iwki or ELDER SCROLLS wiki. They have stats on all equipment.
Daedric simply because you can customize it. Deathbrand means you have to live with the enchantments on the pieces.

You can simply make Stahlrim armor and enchant it as well.

Thanks to all who have anwsered i now know what I am going to wear! Deathbrand! Higher defence and cool enchantments! plus you can still add enchantments!
The maximum effective armor rating is 567. That can be reached with all the high end armors with the right perks and smithing.
can i use deathbrand armor and still get to 567 in time?

I think quite easily. All the heavy or light armor perks will give +150% bonus. Plus smithing perk can double the base defense of the armor.
YAY!! Then i have mad my final decision and my last for sure! Still deathbrand armor!

Daedric is superior in terms of armor rating. I advice you get that. Deathbrand if you want to go for light armor
